I would like to commend Dr. Kindra and the staff at McHenry Pet Hospital. The staff is friendly & professional and Dr. Kindra is a highly knowledgeable and competent DVM, who I fully trust with the care of my dog. He takes the time needed to share all his findings during the examination of my pet.

The recent price increases are a bit much. I bring Bear in every 3 weeks for his anal glands. I see a tech and a 2 minute visit costs over $40. Not to mention Librella injections every 4 weeks. It s adding up quickly.

I very much enjoyed meeting Dr Kindra yesterday. He was very kind, knowledgeable and he did not rush during our appointment. I felt confident that our Izzy was in very good hands. Dr Kindra is a wonderful addition to McHenry Pet Hospital. Brenda, the office manager is amazing! She has the utmost professionalism and dedication to her role at the hospital. She is honestly invaluable. Thank you, Dr Kindra and Brenda! 5 stars all the way in every category!

Regarding McHenry Pet Hospital, the doctor and staff are great! Especially Brenda. But I was surprised and upset because of the increase in cost for the services! And we were informed that we were not getting the Veterans discount to certain services?? We have kept going to McHenry Pet Hospital for years because of the doctors, staff and discounts. We are on a tight budget and disabled. And the consideration of providing discounts for veterans/ disabled and or senior s is showing you as owners are compassionate. That consideration comes back to you the owners, in the people who continue to be clients of the Pet Hospital as we provide word of mouth of your services. Now you have ventured into the negative reviews because you are not even compassionate enough to provide those discounts which are important to us as we seek the services of a veterinarian. You will lose clients by making this change. As I and my immediate family will seek those services by a different Veterinarian and pet hospital. I would hope that removing those discounts was an oversight on your part and would reinstate them. If not, Thank you for the years of care to my pets. As we move to locate services elsewhere.

Prices were way higher than last year. I also wish I was told the price of the medication before giving it, so I turned it down when I was paying. Will probably be looking for a new vet because of the price.
