Dr Kindra is the best!!!! He examined my Dachshund Ruby and explained her ear issue to me like a champion....I am so happy he joined the practice. He cares about the clients here. Brenda at the Desk is great too. Helps me whenever I have a question. When Dr Green left I was worried and Dr Kindra cares as she did about the pets and people.

Good experience overall. I do wish I truly knew the people at the clinic better. Hilde is 4 years old and we ve gone there her whole life, and I think the only person who has spent time to tell me who they are, and who knows anything about us, is Donna. At least she s the only person whose name I remember outside of Dr. Lee. Dr. Lee doesn t say much. The tech is so nice but no introductions. I think that bedside manner piece and getting to know your animals and their people would make me feel a lot better so when we re there for the easy appointments, it s fun for the animal, and when we re there for the hard ones, it s not so hard.

The staff at McHenry pet Hospital are caring and wonderful people. Vet technicians are so nice and genuinely care. I would like to thank Dr. Kindra for his time and attention to our elderly dog and his problems. Dr. Kindra was thorough and explained tests and solutions. He is compassionate and knowledgeable. I gave a 5 star rating on all of your questions Except for one item: Your website is not complete. Your “read article” for more information is not there. On all articles it says “article not found”. Also photos of staff are empty and no mention of the current Doctors or their photos. These things are important to clients. Please try to update the website.

Great price. AMAZING service like always. My mini dachshaund Summer was treated wonderfully by everyone there. When she had her surgery for being spayed they were so kind to her and me. They answered all my questions and gave Summer plenty of pain medication. I would highly recommend them.

I am blanking on the doctor s name, she was filling in. She was so calm with my dog and had such an excellent demeanor. She was extremely helpful and patient with us. I hope to see more of her at this location.

Waiting to check out was inconvenient. Receptionist was talking at great length with someone. I had a puppy waiting and wanted to pay my bill. Not impressed with the staff.

I was surprised at the cost of the meds and the rabies shot. I would have liked to try to order the meds myself online so I can get a better price. Even though the rabies was supposed to be half price it was still higher than I am used to paying. I guess I should have asked about prices before the shot and meds were given. I was very happy with the Dr and staff ??

Our cat was diagnosed with hyperthyroid in early April. We did the meds and listened to the vet, changed food, etc. By April 14 she went from 8 lbs. to 4 lbs. We thought there were no other options and reluctantly we put her down. I had no idea that this was treatable also by radioactive iodine treatment. I can t bring her back and forever hate myself for not doing more, but I did not realize there were other options. We had the same vet person at McHenry and Gilmore and thought putting her down was the best thing too. Sorry, just still heartbroken still after 6 months. All her labs were otherwise good. So hard to move on and finding out now there were options, breaks my heart.;
