Honestly I m blown away by the amazing experience I had here today. The month of December was filled with veterinary trauma elsewhere, but Canyon View Cares was positive and even pleasant. With a diabetic senior dog, a 5 year old *chunky* kitty and a brand new kitten, I expect to be in often, and I dont feel like I m dreading that the way I was prepared for.

It was our first time there in years and they were amazing with me and my dog Maximus..Thanks for being so caring and compassionate and explaining every step of the way!!

history of dogs sent prior/ Vet wasn t informed or aware of history of our 2 german sheperds prior which I thought they could possibly review before the appointment. Shots up up date? Whats next? What is recommended. Ideas as to reason for back leg issues on Victor? What previous vets have done. what worked, what didnt, why its reocurring. Longevity of Cytopoint injections and any long term effects, other possible options otherthan daily Apoquil. A little homework prior to visit would have been nice but I understand it was just our first introductory exams. We plan on continuing with your services and boarding in March for a spell. We just moved to Perry and these dogs are service dogs for my blind husband and autistic son and so important to our family. Thank you kindly:}

I give it a 5 star all the way around. I was able to get a same day appointment. The staff was very friendly. The doctor sat on the ground to get at my dogs level. They were very friendly to my dog and let her do things at her pace. They were very thorough with the visit. I ve never had a vet that sat on the ground to get to my dog s level and I love it.

Did not see a provider

We were really thankful for the time the vet tech and receptionist spent with us going over all Greta’s post op instructions. We were also surprised and greatful that the vet called the next day (Saturday) checking in on how she was doing and explained everything that happened during her surgery. Thank you so much!!

We saw Dr Akagi to have our cats checked out. He was great at explaining everything to us and in providing suggestions for how to care for them. The vet tech, Shelby, was very helpful and friendly. Really liked them both.

My dog had been acting lethargic and not eating for a couple days. I was so worried about him so I called his vet, Canyon View Cares and the tech that answered the phone was so nice and worked him in within a couple hours of my call (it was two days before Christmas, so I am sure they were busy). Dr Akagi was able to quickly diagnose the problem- he had a bowel obstruction due to swallowing a piece of rubber ball. He needed emergency surgery and Dr Akagi and his staff quickly got him prepped and into surgery. He needed to stay overnight for observation and IV fluid and medicine. The next day was Christmas Eve and the clinic was going to be closed, however, Makeala (and other techs but I don t know their names) were willing to come in that night and the next morning to take care of him. We were able to bring him home Christmas Eve. He is doing 100% better and back to his goofy self! I cannot thank Dr Akagi and the staff at Canyon Views enough!! Dr Akagi called me a few days later to check on him. Thank you so much for your excellent skills and compassion. I HIGHLY recommend Canyon View Cares! Thanks again for taking such wonderful care of my sweet goldendoodle.
