I had heard wonders about your clinic from my sister, Andrea Torres-Zaldibar and she right! I had struggled to find a place that would work with my VERY anxious and socially awkward dog, Ollie. He is the sweetest, but he gets so nervous and anxious at the vet. Your team took their time and loved on him. It was a relief and I almost cried when I left because I was so happy that my Ollie had found a place that worked with him and made him feel calm and loved. Thank you for being that place for us!

Over the last 56 years, my wife and I have had 5 Golden Retrievers. The last three have been cared for at Markham Woods Animal Hospital. All our experiences there have been very good, but none better than with the current staff, veterinarians and owners of that practice. Their knowledge and genuine care for our pets is evident throughout. It just doesn t get any better!

I was charged 8+ dollars for biohazzard waste/ osha compliance. The only reason I can see for that is I brought a fecal sample but as a result of fixed low income I opted not to do a fecal test upon initial visit. Cat poop was double bagged and if there was a charge for disposal I should have been offered to just take it back home with me, I mentioned cost being major concern, I can not afford such unnecessary/arbitrary fees and it was not mentioned. Never have I paid this in the past at another facility. It will affect my review and willingness to be a future customer.

I appreciated the quick service in addressing my cat’s issue. I wasn’t pressured to okay expensive tests/procedures that weren’t needed.

If there is a “dog emergency” as I was told was the reason for my very long wait, it would be nice to try and be told that ahead of time rather than say nothing and leave me in a room for 30 minutes with not even seeing a tech.

Impressed from the moment we stepped into the waiting entrance with the cheerful, clean appearance and the friendly greeting! After signing in we were taken to exam room. The nurse came in, greeted us, and after questions, explained procedure. She was knowledgeable and took time to address our concerns. The Doctor came in next and examined our boi. She was kind, addressed the problem and put us at ease. Happy we found Markham Woods Animal Hospital.
